SUDDENLY SOUTHERN

Amazingly, the school year is at an end already.

Max finished 5th grade at Falkland Elementary, and moves on to middle school in the fall. His school had an Award Ceremony the last day. 9 am. Katie finished 8th grade at Farmville Middle School, and moves to high school this fall. Her school had an Award Ceremony the last day. 9 am.

You can see the problem.

Mom took the 5th grader (since I was on the committee to plan the ceremony and had to take down decorations afterwards anyway), and Dad took the 8th grader.

Learning the tie thing

It all starts with a properly knotted tie.

Honor Medal

Max is proud of this medal for being on A Honor Roll all 4 quarters of the school year. He was the only one to earn it!

Bluegrass is a whole culture in itself, and gospel bluegrass is especially sweet! The Marlboro Boys are dedicated to gospel bluegrass, and the man on the mandolin is our friend, Tim. (back row, center)
